Imagine living in a remote community without a school? For the children of Namelok, this is a reality, with most children walking 10 kilometres every day, just for a chance to attend school.

FWP is bringing education to Namelok children by funding a community building where children can study the national Swahili curriculum. We are working in partnership with the Namelok community who are busy building the structure, brick by brick so children can start school in 2014.

This project has been made possible by the efforts of Michelle Lasorsa, a dedicated volunteer who has made a big difference.
